Wall clocks come in five square sizes: 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 cm (8 to 16 inches). Measure the clear wall space first, not the whole wall — a clock should take up roughly half to two thirds of the gap it sits in. 30 cm is the safe answer for most living rooms; 40 cm is a centrepiece and needs empty space either side of it.
You have up to 25 characters — letters, numbers, spaces and accented characters all print. The name is composed into the artwork itself rather than laid over the top, and a person reads it before anything is made. Shorter reads better: past about twelve characters the lettering is set smaller to fit.
Nothing here is held in stock. Wall clocks take 3 to 5 days to make and watches 5 to 7, then 7 to 15 days to reach a US address. Count back at least four weeks from the day you need it in hand, or six weeks internationally. Shipping is free over $69.
