About the artwork

The sardines, open tins, amber lanterns, ribbed glass, frosted enamel, bronze, olive branches, coral, limestone alcoves, linen, light and shadows are flat printed imagery. Layered foreground furnishings, midground lantern conservatory, receding plaster arches and coastal view, volumetric honey light and printed cast and contact shadows create maximum optical depth; no fish, tin, glass, metal, coral, foliage, architecture or furnishings are attached or raised.

Care

Machine wash cold and dry on low heat.

The main image shows the quilted style. The Velvet option has a smoother fabric surface.

Table runners come in three lengths, all 14 inches wide. A runner should hang a hand’s width past each end of the table, or sit inside the edge as a centre strip.

S — 14" x 48": kitchen tables, consoles, coffee tables
M — 14" x 72": a standard six-seat dining table
L — 14" x 108": eight seats, or a table with both leaves in

Quilted cotton or velvet. Quilted cotton grips a polished surface and needs no aftercare; velvet has more depth of colour under evening light. Every design comes in both.
